Fitness Classes

Our LEVEL UP Classes are designed to improve your climbing fitness.

Level UP: Pumped Out

  • FOR: Climbers who want to progress a grade!

  • PREREQUISITES: Top Rope Certified at UpTown

  • DURATION: 90-minutes classes (3/week)

  • COST: This Class will be offered again Fall 2019

This 6-week program is designed to take climbers at 5.9 and above to the next level while also taking steps to minimize injury. The program utilizes concepts from several climbing training books to create a well-rounded course of instruction plus scheduling and tools to continue after the course ends. The course is broken into three parts: base fitness, strength, and power.

Level UP: Base Fitness

  • FOR: Climbers who want to improve of fitness

  • PREREQUISITES: Top Rope Certified at UpTown

  • DURATION: 90-minutes classes (3/week)

    • Tuesdays / Thursdays 7:00 - 8:30pm

    • Sundays 5:30 - 7:00pm

  • COST: TBD

This 3-week (9 class) Base Fitness series is designed to take climbers at 5.9 and above to the next level using periodized training, while also taking steps to address staying injury-free. You will learn warm-ups to prevent injury, strengthen injury prone regions, refine current technique, and build endurance.
